IBM announced on 13 July 2018 that the date for end of support of IBM Cognos TM1 version 10.2.2 will be 30 September 2018. See this link for details.


To ensure continual support of your financial performance management solutions driven by IBM Cognos TM1, it is strongly advised to upgrade it to the latest version of its successor, IBM Planning Analytics. Adept has performed such upgrades successfully for numerous install sites, so do drop us a note so that we can assist in this matter.

Within months, we expanded into Malaysia and soon became an established consulting company in the region through hard work and quality services.

We have since grown from strength to strength, improving our financial performance as well as increasing our consulting teams in Singapore and Malaysia every year.

We now open a new chapter in our short history as Adept Enteprise Solutions (HK) Limited is starting its operations in Hong Kong soon! Team Adept is extremely excited to venture into Greater China market given the vast opportunities to showcase our solutions and capabilties to an even larger audience.

Team Adept closes off 2016 with a bang!

2016 proves to be another great year of performance for both Adept Singapore and Malaysia. With the introduction of IBM Planning Analytics and IBM Analytics on Cloud services, Adept now has more ways to design and develop corporate performance management solutions to meet different organisational needs.

We also saw greater acceptance to cloud services in 2016. We are using IBM Controller on Cloud as a platform to develop financial consolidation solutions for companies with finance users located across the world. By leveraging cloud technology, our customers can save time and resources from setting up and maintaining IT and network infrastructure and instead, focusing more on deeper analysis on their data and optimising their financial processes. 

Similar to 2015, we have once again end the year with a bang as we sealed several deals using both IBM on-premise software and cloud service for customers across industries such as insurance, agriculture and livestock. We have also successfully implemented solutions for our customers in banking industry. We hope to ride on this momentum into 2017 with more exciting opportunities ahead!

UPDATE: IBM Cognos Controller 10.3 launched

IBM had released IBM Controller 10.3 in Dec 2016. Release notes are found here. 

The most exciting feature is definitely the long-awaited introduction on Controller Web. Users who are located in different countries and regions can now easily submit data for financial consolidation through a web interface. We can't wait to try our hands on this!

Team Adept closes off 2015 with a bang!

Riding on the successes in 2014, Adept Singapore and Malaysia continue to lead the way with numerous successful project implementations and winning new projects. Our consulting teams once again completed multiple large-scale financial performance management and business analytics solutions in various industries such as insurance, telecommunication and pharmaceutical using IBM Cognos TM1, Cognos Express and Cognos Controller software on time and of great quality.

In fact, December has been a pretty exciting month for us, to say the least. We ended the year with a bang by securing three projects on 30 Dec!

We now look forward to serving our existing and new customers in 2016 with the best of our abilities, and continue to extend our good work and capabilities to other ASEAN and Asia-Pacific countries such as Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea, Japan and Australia.

Adept Malaysia team is really excited about this new project as we have a great opportunity to build something useful for an interesting business and a wider target audience. This project entails bringing in sales, OPEX and COGS actual, plan and forecast data from SAP into IBM Cognos TM1 for analysis. The scope is pretty extensive as it covers all management reporting areas and legal entities in Asia Pacific of a global pharmaceutical company.

The solution will allow flexible management reporting for all APAC users and senior management through Excel, web portal and dashboards. Customer will benefit from ease of use and maintenance, speed and data integrity. Profitability and price volume effects by product, profit centre and management reporting area can now be easily analysed through this solution.
