Following the release on IBM Cognos TM1 version 10.2.0 on 10 Sep 2013, we have been busy in getting our hands dirty on the latest features. The results have been very impressive thus far, especially on the following areas:
- Improved query performance due to multi-threading
- Integrated scordcards
- Migration capabilities from Cognos Planning to TM1
- New Excel client "Cognos Analysis for Microsoft Excel" or CAFE
- Improvement on TM1 Web
- More useful enhancements to Performance Modeler that helps developers and administrators
- Greater flexibility in developing Applications i.e. workflow models
We will be focusing on helping our customers who are on older TM1 versions or are currently using Cognos Planning to migrate to TM1 version 10.2.0 in the coming months as we see great benefits and values that our customers can reap from the new features.
